Russ has over 12 years of experience covering all aspects of carpentry and joinery from traditional cut roofs to intricate joinery. Russ completed his apprenticeship in the UK with a small building company where he was thrown in at the deep end and quickly earned his keep. It was here that he learnt the skills of his trade which he has spent the last 12 years perfecting.
After his apprenticeship, Russ was offered a job at a small, high end carpentry and joinery company. For Russ, this was his first taste of working with period architecture; seamlessly integrating the sensitive restoration of heritage buildings with contemporary construction. This was where he developed his appreciation for beautiful design and workmanship that stands the test of time.
Russ has an excellent eye for detail and is a perfectionist at heart. He is thorough in his approach to overcoming problems, drawing on his years of experience to find solutions to technical and creative challenges. Russ is a friendly and approachable person who is happy take the time to explain any aspect of his work and will guide you through the whole process from start to finish.
